New delhi date. Sunday, April 4, 2021

As the transition to corona is rampant in the country, AIIMS director Dr Randeep Guleria has warned that a new wave of corona could reach a climax this month and a mini lockdown is needed in India to curb the deadly disease.

Earlier, he had said that there was a worrying situation in the country over Corona. Because the number of corona patients has been increasing at an alarming rate for the last few days. Dr. Guleria is also a member of the National Task Force for Corona. He says people are not wearing masks and adhering to social discrimination even though corona is spreading. It took many months in the country to cross the figure of 70,000 new patients every day during the first wave of Corona but this time we are seeing an increase in the number of Corona patients very soon.

As many as 94,000 new corona patients have come forward in India on Sunday. At the same time, 593 people have lost their lives in a single day. The death toll has risen to 1.64 lakh. About seven lakh corona patients are still being treated in the country.

Maharashtra has the highest number of deaths from corona in the country so far. It is from this same state that most patients with corona are constantly coming forward.
