Corona rampant in India, breaking all records so far, 1.15 lakh new cases in 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 1.15 lakh new cases of corona have been reported in the country, according to a WorldDometer report. For the second time in the country, the number of daily cases of corona has crossed one lakh. Earlier on Sunday, 1,03,558 new cases of transition were reported in 24 hours. This is Corona's biggest daily surge ever in India. At the same time, the total number of corona cases in the country has increased to 1,27,99,746. In addition, the number of active cases in the country has crossed 8 lakh and the number of active cases is 8,43,779.

India ranks fourth in the world in active cases and 631 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the death toll from the deadly infection has risen to 1,66,208. According to one study, the second wave of corona virus is proving to be more deadly than the first. Out of the total cases of corona, the five most affected states are Maharashtra (31,13,354), Kerala (11,37,590), Karnataka (10,20,434), Andhra Pradesh (9,09,002) and Tamil Nadu (9,03,479).

Corona's figures point to continued vigilance. The most worrying situation is in Maharashtra and Mumbai. In the last 24 hours, 55,000 new cases have been registered in Maharashtra. In Mumbai, the number of new cases has crossed 10,000 in 24 hours. In Delhi, the figure has crossed 5,000. For the first time since September, the number of new cases in Delhi has crossed 5,000. In the last 24 hours, 5,100 new cases of corona have been reported in Delhi and 17 people have died.
