Corona blast in Uttar Pradesh: 18,021 new cases in 23 hours, 5300 cases in Lucknow alone

Outbreaks of corona virus are on the rise in the country. Now, after Maharashtra, the tax virus is also taking shape in Uttar Pradesh. Corona's new figures are setting records in Uttar Pradesh. In the last 24 hours, 18,021 new cases of corona virus have been reported in Uttar Pradesh. Which is by far the highest.

Worryingly, only 5382 new cases have been reported in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, 1856 new cases have been reported in Prayagraj, 1404 in Varanasi and 1271 in Kanpur. A night curfew has been imposed in 20 districts of the state to curb the spread of the corona virus in northern Uttar Pradesh. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person.

Earlier in the day, 13,685 new cases were reported in Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours. There are currently 81,876 active cases in Uttar Pradesh. While today 72 people have lost their lives due to corona. The total death toll due to corona in Uttar Pradesh is 9224. The health department said 3197 people have also recovered in the last 24 hours.

A total of 1,93,379 tests were conducted inside the northern region yesterday. Of these, more than 89,000 tests were from RTPCR. So far, 3,69,54,537 corona have been tested in Uttar Pradesh. If we talk about vaccination, the first dose of vaccine has been given to 75,76,365 people in the state. While the second dose has been given to 12,70,243 people.
