CM Uddhav Thackeray to announce tonight at 8:30 pm whether there will be a lockdown in Maharashtra

The steady rise in coronavirus cases in Maharashtra has caused a stir in the state. Corona case statistics continue to set new records Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is scheduled to address the people of Maharashtra tonight at 8.30 pm to curb the rising Corona case. In which a decision on whether to lockdown may be announced.

The chief minister said the lockdown was being seen as an option in view of the rising Koro transition last month. He further said that the people of the state will abide by the rules this time as in the previous lockdown. Two days ago, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that strict measures would be taken to prevent the transition in the near future and people would have to be prepared for it. In such circumstances the government may make a major announcement to reduce the transition to corona.

The Chief Minister of Maharashtra is going to address the people at a time when 43,183 new cases of Kovid-19 have come up in the state on Thursday. The highest number of cases has been reported in the state in a single day after the onset of the epidemic. A further 249 patients have died from the infection, according to the state health department. Thus, the highest number of deaths in a single day since October last year. The transition has killed a total of 54,898 people in the state so far.

A seven-day partial lockdown has been imposed in Pune in view of the rising cases of corona. Lockdown related guidelines have also been issued. Required services are excluded from the lockdown. Bars, hotels and restaurants will be closed for the next seven days as per the government order. However home delivery facility is exempted.

According to the guideline, all events except marriage and funeral are banned. A maximum of 50 people can attend the wedding and a maximum of 20 people can attend the funeral. This order of the government will come into force from tomorrow. This information has been given by the Divisional Commissioner of Pune.
