A National Investigation Agency (NIA) team carrying suspended Mumbai Police officer Sachin Waje reached Mumbai's CST railway station late on Monday night. Sachin Waje is accused in the Mansukh Hiren case. A team of investigating agencies recreated the scene near Vaj at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. Waje was taken to platforms 4 and 5 to associate the evidence with CCTV footage.

A team from the forensic department was also present. After the whole process was over, the team kept going back with the clock. The investigating agency suspects that one of the persons seen near the station was Sachin Waje and this is why the scene was recreated. There is a possibility of a major revelation in this case.

Custody extended until April 7

Police officer Sachin Waje has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a gelatin stick-laden Scorpio car near the house of veteran businessman Mukesh Ambani in Antilia and the investigating agency is leaking new secrets from him every day.
