New delhi date. 19 April 2021, Monday

The Shiv Sena has demanded that a special session of Parliament be convened to discuss the war-like situation in the country due to Corona.

Shiv Sena MP and spokesperson Sanjay Raut said that the situation in the country is unprecedented and like a war. There is an atmosphere of panic everywhere. Not getting a bed, not getting oxygen and not getting vaccinated. Afra Tafari Macheli is all around. The government should convene a special session of parliament for at least two days to discuss the situation.

Earlier, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray had claimed that he had tried to speak to PM Modi on the phone for oxygen supply in the state but could not do so as he was busy with the Bengal election campaign.

"Maharashtra is in dire need of oxygen," the chief minister's office said. Oxygen for industries is being used for hospitals. However, the state government is getting cooperation from the center.
