1.45 lakh cases of corona, 794 deaths in 24 hours in the country amid lockdowns at several places

Corona's case is not taking the name of stopping amid lockdowns in many states of the country. In the last 24 hours, 1,45,384 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. The death toll from the corona is also becoming increasingly alarming. Corona has killed 794 people in the last 24 hours, according to the health ministry.

The total number of infected people in the country has risen to 1,32,05,926, according to figures released by the Ministry of Health. In the last 24 hours, 77,567 people have recovered from the corona, bringing the total number of people recovering to 1,19,90,859. The total death toll in the country has risen to 1,68,436 with 794 deaths reported in the last 24 hours. The total number of active cases in the country is 10,46,631 and so far a total of 9,80,75,160 people have been vaccinated.

More than one lakh cases on Friday

The second wave of corona is proving to be more deadly. The highest number of new cases was reported since the onset of the epidemic last Friday. In 24 hours on Friday, 1,31,968 new cases were reported in the country and 780 people died. But all the records so far have been shattered since the case was registered on Saturday.
