Truck driver loses control, crashes within Bopura police station
Lucknow: At least 10 people were killed and 40 others injured when a truck plunged into a ravine in Etawah in Uttar Pradesh this morning, police said in a statement.
Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Prashant Kumar Prasad told reporters that the driver of the truck lost control and the accident took place in the vicinity of Bopura police station. The truck was carrying 40 to 50 people.
The crash killed at least 10 people and injured 40 others. The injured have been admitted to Etawah District Hospital. Given the seriousness of the injured, they will be shifted to larger hospitals. The dead included all the men.
