A senior journalist shared an old video of Ramdev Baba in which Baba is calling the torn jeans being sold by Patanjali cultured. The reporter shared the video with the tag 'less torn and more torn jeans'.

This video is from the year 2018 when Baba Ramdev inaugurated the first clothing store in Delhi called Patanjali Paridhan. Talking about jeans at that time, Baba said that he also has torn jeans. He said, ‘There are many options available in the store, they also keep ripped jeans in addition to the seams. But he has torn the jeans to such an extent that Indianness is also maintained. Further sabotage is detrimental to Indianness. ' A woman journalist then asked Ramdev Baba the name of the jeans, to which Ramdev Baba replied that it was 'cultured jeans' and started laughing out loud.

During a function, Chief Minister Rawat said that due to lack of etiquette, the youth have started wearing weird fashions and wearing knee-length jeans, they consider themselves the sons of a big father. He further said that girls are not far behind in such fashions. Nowadays children go to the market to buy torn jeans from the knee and if they do not get them they cut them with scissors.

Referring to an incident in this case, he said that once when he boarded the plane, he was accompanied by a woman who was wearing gum boots. The woman's jeans were torn from her knees and she was wearing several bracelets on her hands. She also had two children with her. She runs a women's NGO. He goes in the midst of society, he has two children of his own but if his knees are torn what will he do in that.
