West Bengal: Attack on Dharmendra Pradhan's rally in Nandigram, BJP activist injured, TMC charged

Political violence is taking place in West Bengal during the Assembly elections. Now in the region's most high-profile seat Nandigram, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's election rally has been attacked. It is alleged that the attack was carried out by Trinamool Congress workers. A BJP worker was seriously injured in the attack.

According to the information received, Puran Chandra, president of the youth front of Nandigram-1 Dakshin Mandal, has been beheaded. He was involved in the election rally of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in Sonchura, Nandigram. The injured worker has been rushed to hospital by the Union Minister. Dharmendra Pradhan has demanded fair elections by increasing the number of paramilitary forces.

Earlier, a crude bomb was hurled at Jagdal in northern 24 Parganas. Three people, including a child, were injured in the attack. The place where the attack took place is not far from the house of BJP MP Arjun Singh. The BJP will lodge a complaint with the Election Commission.

The incident took place at 18th Street in Jagdal area of ​​North 24 Parganas district on Wednesday night in which 3 people were injured and the place is not far from the house of BJP MP Arjun Singh in Barrackpore. On the incident, BJP MP Arjun Singh said bombs were hurled at about 15 places and CCTV cameras were smashed.

On the attack, BJP MP Arjun Singh said, "We have been informing the police for the last 10 to 12 days, but the police have not taken any action." We also informed the Election Commission and in the meantime another bomb blast took place. Three people, including a child, were injured in the attack. In fact, the police have not taken any action as they are doing on the instructions of the ruling party.
