With the forthcoming Assembly elections in West Bengal, allegations are rife among political forces. Every party is ready to seize every opportunity to get votes in the elections. There is going to be a tough tussle between the ruling Trinamool Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party in the state and both the parties are exerting their full strength.

In Hooghly, BJP MP Locket Chatterjee shared a video questioning the appointment of TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee. In this video, Kalyan Banerjee is seen pulling the cheek of a woman MLA. Locket Chatterjee shared the video and wrote, "Is this women's empowerment?"

Sharing the video, Loket Chatterjee wrote, TMC is empowering women ?. This is TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee and the outgoing Bankura MLA who were disappointed with not getting tickets. Shame on you.

However, after the video went viral, Kalyan Banerjee himself retaliated and reacted strongly. He also shared a video from his Twitter handle questioning the mindset of Locket Chatterjee, who clarified the matter.

Kalyan Banerjee wrote while sharing a video of his program from another angle, Locket Chatterjee's tweet shows his bad brain. They do not know the relationship between brother and sister. Aloka has been like my sister for a long time and I am from Bankura, dirty thinking Locket Chatterjee should know that.

West Bengal will go to the polls in eight phases this time. The results of the 294-seat election will be announced on May 2. While the BJP is claiming to have won more than 200 seats, the TMC is also pretending to form a government again.
