Congress leader Sachin Pilot and his camp MLAs revolted against Ashok Gehlot of Rajasthan in July last year.

Eight months later, the Gehlot government finally admitted that the phones of MLAs in Sachin Pilot's camp were tapped at the time.

It may be mentioned that the issue of phone tapping was also raised at that time. At that time, Gehlot alleged that the BJP government was trying to buy Congress MLAs.

After the issue was raised, the question was raised in the assembly today as to whether it was true that the phone was tapped at that time and if the phone was tapped, under what law and on whose order the action was taken. In response, the government said the phones were tapped for the security of Rajasthan.
