The no-confidence motion against the Khattar government will be debated in the Haryana Assembly after voting

The main opposition Congress has today tabled a no-confidence motion against the BJP-JJP government in the Haryana Assembly. Assembly Speaker Gyanchand Gupta has set a two-hour deadline for the debate. After the completion of Question Hour, the Speaker has accepted the notice of no-confidence motion against the Cabinet.

"I have received no-confidence motions from the Leader of the Opposition and 27 other Congress MLAs," he said. The chairman accepted the notice and set aside two hours for discussion. Hooda has filed a no-confidence motion against the Haryana cabinet headed by Chief Minister Manoharlal Khattar.

Earlier, Hooda told reporters that the no-confidence motion would make people realize how many MLAs are with the government and how many are with the farmers.

The 90-member Haryana Legislative Assembly currently has a total of 88 members, including 40 from the ruling BJP, 10 from the JJP and 30 from the Congress. Apart from JJP, there are seven independent MLAs. One member is from Haryana Lokhit Party. Who has supported the BJP.

It may be mentioned that due to the peasant agitation, the pressure on JJP President Dushyant Chautala is constantly increasing. Even if the JJP withdraws its support, a BJP government could remain in power in the state. Because the BJP claims to have the support of five independent MLAs.
