The bank will be closed for a total of 11 days across the country in March. Apart from that, unions of nine government banks have also announced a two-day strike on March 15 and 16. This way government banks can have 13 days off and private banks can have 11 days off. Therefore, if there is any work related to the bank during the current month, the dates of bank closure and strike should be kept in mind.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a calendar according to which banking operations will be closed for a few days in March. These include 5 holidays, 4 Sundays and 2 Saturdays.

Apart from that, bank unions have announced strikes on March 15 and 16 in protest of privatization. This way the bank may be closed for a total of 13 days in the month of March.

Bank Holiday Dates

- The bank will be closed on March 5 in Mizoram due to Chapchar Kut.

- March 11 is Mahashivaratri so all banks in many cities of the country will be closed. However, the bank will continue in Delhi on this day.

- March 13 is the second Saturday of the month so banks across the country will be closed.

- There is a strike in government banks on March 15 and 16.

- Banks in Bihar will be closed as March 22 is Bihar Day.

- As March 27 is the fourth Saturday of the month, banks across the country will be closed.

- Banks across the country will be closed on March 29 due to Holi. Many cities will also have a Holi holiday on March 30.

- except 7, 14, 21 and the bank will be closed from 28 March to Sunday.
