A shocking thing has happened in Lahore, Pakistan. Excavations at Lahore Fort have unearthed a 400-year-old tunnel that shocked everyone. The most amazing thing is that the mine is completely safe despite being 400 years old.

The Lahore Fort has a total of 12 monuments, some of which date back to the time of Emperor Akbar. The monuments have been undergoing repairs for the last few days. People found the tunnel only during repairs and its strength is still the same as before. The tunnel also has a very good ventilation system and it is believed that there will still be some secret passages inside.

According to a report, the tunnel was used for secret passage and drainage and the walls of the tunnel in the center of Lahore are very strong. According to WCLA sub-engineer Hafiz Umran, signs of the tunnel were found during excavations when rehabilitation and renovation work on the Moti Masjid and Maktab Khana was started. A 625-foot-long tunnel was repaired to enable drainage and rainwater from the old waterway.

It is said that during the monsoon, the tunnel of the fort was flooded causing damage to various parts of the fort. Snakes and scorpions were also found during the excavations. According to the report of the Archaeological Department, there were 7 returns of this fort. Meaning, that fort was demolished 7 times and rebuilt.
