Terror conspiracy foiled in valley, arms seized at Kupwada, several taken into custody

Police in Karah sector in north Kashmir's Kupwara district on Sunday seized a large quantity of weapons and foiled a major plot to spread unrest in the area. It includes 5 AK-47 rifles, 7 pistols and a large quantity of ammunition. Some suspects in the case are being taken into custody and are being questioned.

Kupwada SSP Dr. According to GV Sudip Chakraborty, the police conducted a joint search operation in Dhani, Tad area along with the army after receiving a tip-off. Large quantities of weapons and ammunition were recovered from the spot at that time.

It includes 6 magazines, 5 AK-47 rifles, 7 pistols and a large quantity of ammunition with its 9 magazines. An investigation has been launched into the purpose for which the weapons were delivered to which organization.
