Tensions on Indo-Nepal border: Nepal Police firing on three Indian nationals, one killed

Tensions have once again risen on the border between India and Nepal. Police in Nepal have shot dead an Indian national.

Pilibhit in UP crosses the border between India and Nepal. Three youths from Pilibhit went to Nepal on the other side of the border. Where at some point he had a scuffle with the Nepal police. Nepali police then opened fire on Indian nationals. A young man died on the spot. His body is still in a hospital in Nepal. When a young man returned to the Indian border to save his life. While no information of the third youth has come to light.

As soon as the incident was reported, the security forces deployed on the Indo-Nepal border were shaken. Since then a large number of security forces have been deployed here. The three youths had gone to Nepal for a walk and were fired upon after a quarrel with the police there, Pilibhit police said.

However, a large police convoy has been deployed at the border to prevent further deterioration. Efforts are being made to find a third youth.
