Seven babies are growing in the womb of a woman in Mali

Bamako, March 30, 2021, Tuesday

Seven children are waiting to be born in the womb of a woman in Mali, a poor country in Africa. It is unusual for seven children to grow up in the womb at the same time. Therefore, keeping in view the health of the woman, the government of Mali is preparing to send the woman to Morocco for essential care in addition to air. According to Mali's health department, the treatment could have been done at home, but the decision was made because the woman needed better treatment in this special situation.

The fact that not one, two or three but seven children are being raised in the womb has sparked a debate in Mali. The woman has been undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital Bamako for the past two weeks. It has become necessary to constantly monitor the status of the abnormal pregnancy. The 7-year-old woman was not named in the local media but is a resident of Timbuktu, north of Mali. The government has decided to bear all the expenses of this woman's treatment.

However, even when a woman gives birth to seven children at the same time, it will be challenging for her to take care of everyone. Many people in Mali have offered to help this woman in the event of a possible disaster. However, there have been cases in the past where so many babies have been born and given birth at the same time. A 20-year-old woman from Saidi Arabia became the mother of seven children in the 19th century. (Symbolic image)
