Rains in Delhi: Four killed in lightning strike in Gurugram

The meteorological department has issued alerts to Punjab, Delhi, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Bihar, UP, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. These states may experience light to heavy rainfall with winds.
There was heavy snowfall in Kashmir. There was snowfall in areas like Gulmarg, Baramulla. It caused the average temperature in Kashmir to drop. Climate change and torrential rains in many states of India led to an increase in average temperatures.
According to the meteorological department, the western disturbance caused a sudden change in the weather in a number of states of the country and the effect is still likely to last for two-three days.
