Many train services in the country have not yet been reactivated due to the Corona epidemic. Passengers traveling from one state to another have their relatives come to pick them up at the railway station and it is mandatory for them to buy railway platform tickets.

The platform ticketing facility was shut down a year ago as Corona's case was on the rise so that only those who have to travel can go to the station and not be overcrowded. However now the platform ticketing service has been resumed.

Apart from Delhi, platform ticket prices have also been increased in Mumbai and the price has been increased five times.
