Pakistan's intelligence has now come to the fore, the army chief sang the tune of peace with India

Islamabad, Thursday 18 March 2021

Pakistan's intelligence has now come to a standstill in the war against India and its use of terrorism, said Pak Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa. That South Asia is being pushed into poverty because of this issue.

He said it was important to understand that the Kashmir issue was at its core, adding that without a peaceful settlement of the Kashmir issue, the subcontinental reconciliation process could not be completed. Bajwa further said that we feel that this is the time to move forward by burying history, although he said that now it is up to India whether it is ready for discussion or not, and for that an atmosphere has to be created.

Bajwa said he was saddened to learn that even today South Asia is one of the most integrated regions in the world in terms of trade, infrastructure, water and energy cooperation. "Even though we are poor, we are spending a lot of money on defense," he said. Which can actually be done behind human development.
