The new list of the world's weapons of mass destruction has made an important revelation regarding nuclear weapons. According to a new report by the Federation of American Scientists, an American organization that monitors nuclear weapons, India has fewer nuclear bombs than Pakistan.

Pakistan has more nuclear bombs

However, the number of world nuclear weapons production has declined since the end of the Cold War. According to the report, there were 70,300 nuclear weapons worldwide in 1986, which dropped to 13,100 in 2021.

Russia has the most nuclear weapons

Russia currently has the world's largest nuclear arsenal, according to the FAS. Russia currently has 6,257 nuclear bombs, of which 1,600 are deployed. Russia has reserved 4,497 bombs.

The United States currently has 5,550 nuclear bombs, of which 1,800 are deployed and 3,800 are reserved. France ranks third and Britain fourth in terms of active atomic bombs.

According to the list, China currently has 350 atomic bombs, followed by France with 290 atomic bombs and Britain with 195 atomic bombs. However, the report casts doubt on the number of nuclear bombs in China. Britain is followed by Pakistan, followed by India with 160 atomic bombs.
