There was a demonstration against Wasim Rizvi in ​​Bazar Khala Thana area. The protest was attended by a large number of people from the Shia community outside the royal palace. Protesters also read the Koran outside Rizvi's home.

Wasim Rizvi, chairman of the Indian Humanity Forum, recited the Quran in protest outside his home in the Kashmiri mohalla. Meanwhile, there was tight security outside Wasim Rizvi's house. A heavy police force was deployed for security outside Rizvi's house. Wasim Rizvi, former chairman of the Shia Waqf Board, has filed a petition in the court seeking removal of 26 verses from the Quran.

Muslim clerics have opened a front against Rizvi after he filed a petition to remove a verse from the Quran. Maulana Kalbe Jawad Naqvi had demanded Rizvi's arrest saying he was an enemy of Islam. Javade also alleged that Rizvi had done so to appease anti-Muslim extremist forces.
