Nitish Kumar fulfills election promise on his birthday


- Citizens of Bihar will also get the vaccine for free in private hospitals

Nitish Kumar's government is preparing to fulfill its promise to provide free corona vaccine to all the people of the state during the Bihar Assembly elections. The Bihar government has decided that the entire cost of the Kovid-19 vaccine, which will be available in all private hospitals from today, i.e. March 1, will be borne by the state government.

An important meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday decided to provide free corona vaccine in private hospitals as well. The central government has set a maximum price of Rs 250 per dose of the vaccine but in Bihar it will be available for free.

During the Bihar Assembly elections, the BJP had promised that if it returned to power, every citizen of Bihar would be vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine for free. Following his formation, Nitish Kumar's cabinet approved a proposal to provide free Covid-19 vaccine to every citizen of Bihar.
