Following the crackdown on Rohingyas living illegally in Jammu and Kashmir, those who helped them are now being targeted. The government is preparing to investigate NGOs, individuals and missionaries who help the Rohingya. Most of them are residents of Kashmir.

The helpers have been identified, according to a report from government sources. They came to help the Rohingyas in the form of study and food. These organizations are suspected of receiving help from outsiders. The children were sent to nearby madrassas and educated in the population. It is also suspected that a spirit of bigotry has been instilled in them.

The background of these institutions, their bank account and audit report will be examined so that everything becomes clear. An NGO first resettled about 45-50 Rohingyas in the Bathinda and Sujuwan areas and then gradually increased their numbers. He had set up his temporary settlements at more than 30 places outside Jammu. It also includes areas such as Sujuwan and Nagarota, which are close to military camps.

According to a report, apart from Srinagar, some organizations in Delhi were also helping him. 2 to 3 times a month representatives of these organizations reached out to the Rohingya population and helped them with economic and study related things.

Apart from that, other members of these organizations are expected to stay there for a whole month and move around the Rohingya population. An investigation by these organizations could also reveal how the Rohingya were planned to be resettled in Jammu. It will be known if this was not the intention to change the demographics of Jammu.

Detention centers will be set up as required

Verification of Rohingyas will continue. As many detention centers as needed will be set up. Rohingyas living here are illegal. They do not have a UNHRC certificate. All of them will be prosecuted under the Passport Act. It is learned that Rohingyas have applied for UNHRC and are living on the basis of receiving it.
