Mission Gaganyan: Indian astronauts' training in Russia nearing completion

Soon India is going to send its astronauts into space. Preparations for this have already started. The training of the four astronauts to be sent for the mission is now nearing completion.

According to sources, the training will be completed in a few days. During the training, they have been given training on how to live in space.

Mission Gaganyan is one of PM Modi's ambitious plans, which is costing around Rs 10,000 crore. ISRO's goal is to send Indian astronauts into space via Gaganyan next year.

Most of those previously selected for training in Russia were Air Force pilots. Once their training is completed, four pilots will be selected for the spacecraft.
