Life ban on air travel, legal action likely if corona rules are not followed

While the second wave of corona is spreading very fast in the country, all the states are already preparing to stop the corona. If a passenger does not follow the rules regarding corona during air travel, the airlines will take stern action against him.

In the last few days, 8 people who did not follow the rules of Covid-19 were dropped off from various planes. All those passengers refused to wear masks and PPE kits. There were 8 such cases involving 3 airlines in the last one week.

Can be banned for life

According to the report of Civil Aviation, if a passenger violates the rules, he can be banned for 2 years. If the passenger does not follow the rules despite several requests, he / she will be included in the list of voluntary passengers and may be banned in the future. If a passenger does not follow the rules despite many requests, he can be placed on the 'No Fly List' for 3 months to a lifetime.

Delhi High Court order

According to the order of the Delhi High Court, a passenger can be taken off the plane if he refuses to wear a mask, PPE kit or does not follow social distance. Airlines can take action against such passengers, the order said.
