India can't occupy an inch of Chinese land with four-nation alliance: China

Beijing, Ta. 13. Saturday 2021 March

After an online meeting between India, Japan, Australia and the US yesterday, China is now in a dilemma.

Commenting on the meeting, Hu Shijin, editor of China's state-run newspaper Global Times, said the quad meeting was not going to help India occupy an inch of China's land.

He said the four-nation bloc would not help India occupy an inch of Chinese land and would not help stop Japanese ships from entering China's waters off the Diaoyu Islands.

Ahead of the meeting, China said the four-nation bloc should not be aimed at cooperating with each other or targeting a third party.
