Government surrenders on Kashmir issue, PM Modi and Imran Khan to be seen having dinner soon: Dr Swamy

BJP MP Dr Subramaniam Swamy, who has been besieging his own government, has questioned India's Pakistan policy.

After the growing prospects of resumption of trade between India and Pakistan as well as the correspondence between PM Modi and Pak Prime Minister Imran Khan, Dr. Swamy tweeted that India has surrendered on the Kashmir issue. Now forget Pak-occupied Kashmir ... I am confident that soon PM Modi will have dinner with Imran Khan in Britain.

It may be mentioned that an important meeting of the Cabinet of the Government of India is to be held today on the issue of trade with Pakistan. India has also signaled to start trade with Pakistan, which has been closed for the last two years.

Pakistan took a unilateral decision to ban trade with India in 2019. Now it is up to Pakistan to decide whether it wants to lift the ban.

Earlier, PM Modi had written a letter to Imran Khan on Pakistan's National Day and wished him a solution to other issues, including Jammu and Kashmir.
