Rejecting the politics of terrorists and separatists as well as exploitation, Kashmir seems to be completely merging into the mainstream. For the first time since independence, the national flag was hoisted and the national anthem was played on the campus of Kashmir University.

From a distance, tricolors can be seen flying on a high pillar on the campus of the University of Kashmir. The tricolor, which was flying in the air, was a slap in the face to those who said that after the repeal of Article 370, there was no hand holding the tricolor in Kashmir.

Like the rest of the country, Jammu and Kashmir also witnessed the 75th anniversary of independence on Friday, the beginning of the Amrit Mahotsav. The Amrut Mahotsav of Independence was celebrated on the campus of Kashmir University and no one protested against it.
