EVM is tampered with, outside police come and threaten people: Mamata Banerjee

After holding a road show in Nandigram in the West Bengal election battle, CM Mamata Banerjee said that police from other states have been deployed in Bengal for the elections and she is threatening the people.

Mamata Banerjee even claimed that EVMs are being tampered with. If EVMs are bad, people will not panic and wait at the polling booths and return home only after casting their votes. Keep your mind calm while voting. The BJP needs to be driven out of Bengal and Nandigram.

He threatened the BJP leaders that the Central Force was in Bengal till the elections. After winning the elections, the Bengal Police would take charge of security and then look into the culprits.

Mamata Banerjee further said, "I could have contested from the second assembly seat. But I have decided to contest from Nandigram to honor the mothers and sisters of the area. I have opted for Nandigram instead of Singur. The people of Nandigram have been threatened by thugs." A thousand leaders have come to Bengal with thousands of police personnel from Delhi. But the people here will not allow outsiders to enter, if goons come, confront them.
