The fact that people of Indian descent are gaining ground in government in the United States is now acknowledged by US President Joe Biden himself.
In the 50 days since Biden became president, he has appointed 55 people of Indian descent to various positions. "People of Indian descent are gaining ground in the United States," Byrd said during a conversation with NASA scientists who landed the rover on Mars.
For this, he named NASA scientist Swati Mohan, Vice President Kamala Harris and his speech writer Vinay Reddy.
Swati Mohan has played a pivotal role in NASA's Mars rover, and IndiaSpore has welcomed the Biden government's decision, saying "people of Indian descent are happy to be involved in serving the United States." Many people of Indian descent have joined the new government and are proud to see the growing dominance of Indian descent.
Earlier, even during the Obama administration, the highest number of appointments were made in the government of people of Indian descent.
