Emphasizes Home Ministry's new guidelines, test, track and treat strategy amid rising Corona cases

The Union Home Ministry today unveiled a new guideline amid growing Korona riots in the country. The Home Ministry has issued guidelines for the month of April. This new guideline will apply from 1 April to 30 April.

Enhance RTPCR test

Within this guideline the emphasis is mainly on working on test, track and treat strategies. At the same time, there is talk of increasing the focus on the vaccination campaign. Those states which have low RTPCR test figures are advised to increase this test. The number of these RTPCR tests in each state and union territory has been directed to be 70%.


Creating a content zone

The guideline states that in case of any new corona case, timely treatment should be made available and they should be sent in isolation. At the same time, all those who come in contact with them should be quarantined. Apart from this, the information of the contentment zone of that district should be posted on the website of the district collector and also sent to the Union Ministry of Health.

As per the directions of the government, programs will be started outside the containment zone by railways, airlines, metros, schools, educational institutions, hotels, restaurants, hotels, malls, multiplexes, yoga centers and gyms. All of this must be managed in accordance with Corona's guidelines.


Accelerate vaccination

Penalties have also been raised for wearing a mask within the guideline and for complying with the rules of social distance. At the same time, it has been clarified that no ban has been imposed on inter-state and intra-state (going to another state).

Concerns have been raised within the guideline regarding states with low vaccination rates. States have been directed to increase vaccination coverage. This is necessary to break the chain of the corona.
