Former TMC leader and Rajya Sabha MP Dinesh Trivedi, who was once Mamata's close and right-hand man, has joined the BJP. He has joined the BJP in the presence of BJP national president JP Nadda.
Voting for 294 West Bengal Assembly seats is set to begin on March 27. With the elections being held in eight phases, the region's politics is heating up and former TMC leader Dinesh Trivedi has joined the BJP.
