Dattatreya Hosbol elected RSS chief, find out what is the significance of this position in the organization

The All India Representative Assembly of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has elected Dattatreya Hosbole as the new Prime Minister. He has been the Union's co-chairman since 2009. Dattatreya Hosbol, 66, is from Shimoga district in Karnataka.

He was unanimously elected to the House of Representatives in Bengaluru. Dattatreya Hosbole has been elected as the new caretaker government in place of Suresh Bhaiyaji Joshi. However, the name of Dattatreya Hosbole for the post was already under discussion.

Today is the last day of the two-day meeting of the All India House of Representatives, the apex decision-making body of the RSS. The functioning of the union is being reviewed in a two-day meeting. Bhaiyaji Joshi has been in power since 2009. Joshi has been holding the post for four consecutive terms.

What is the significance of this position

Govt. This is the only post for which elections are held in the Union. This position is very important in the internal workings of the union. The term of office of the Union Government is three years. The day-to-day operations of the Sangh are not led by the Sarsangchalak but by the government.
