Congressmen burnt a statue of Azad in Jammu in praise of PM Modi

The ongoing struggle in the Congress over the 'G-2' group issue is now being seen on the road as well. After a meeting of G-7 leaders who wrote a letter to Sonia Gandhi and Ghulam Nabi Azad praised Prime Minister Modi from a public platform, slogans were chanted against Ghulam Nabi Azad and his statue was burnt. In Bengal, on the other hand, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary slammed Anand Sharma for criticizing the party for its alliance with ISF.

Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi and surrounded the party. In Jammu, Congress workers chanted slogans against Azad and burnt his statue. Congress workers said the party gave him a lot of respect, but today he is befriending the BJP when he should support the party. He did not come here to campaign in the DDC elections, but came here praising Prime Minister Modi. Azad is weakening the party for personal interests.

Another Congress leader, Ranjit Ranjan, said that some people were criticizing the party just to get a Rajya Sabha seat while the party had given a lot to these people (G-7 leaders). Such behavior by senior party leaders even before the Assembly elections in five states seems like a conspiracy.

Ghulam Nabi Azad praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a function in Jammu. He termed Prime Minister Modi a leader associated with the land and said that people should learn from him how a man should remain connected to his roots even after achieving success. Moreover the Prime Minister never hid his own reality of selling tea.

In Bengal, on the other hand, Anand Sharma, a senior leader of the G-7 group, criticized the Congress for allying with the ISF, a Muslim organization, and opposed the alliance with ISF as "Gandhian" and "Nehru's ideology". However, criticizing Anand Sharma, Bengal Congress president and parliamentary party leader in the Lok Sabha Adhiranjan Chaudhary slammed Anand Sharma and said his remarks hurt the party. His remarks are in line with the BJP's agenda. We know who Anand Sharma's Bigg Boss is and who he wants to please.

However, the party has no direct connection with the ISF in Bengal. The Left is the main party in Bengal and has no alliance with the ISF. Replying to Anand Sharma, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said, "We are in charge of the state. We do not make decisions without someone's approval. The decision to share seats with the ISF is left-wing. However, we have taken this step to keep the communal BJP away in Bengal.
