Bengal elections: Mamata Banerjee takes to the streets in Nandigram battle, road show on a wheelchair in the sun

All eyes are on Nandigram, the hot seat in the West Bengal elections. From here, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is in the fray. Against him is BJP candidate Shubhendu Adhikari. Shubhendu officer has claimed to have defeated Mamata Banerjee. So Mamata Banerjee has also entered the election campaign with full force. Meanwhile, Mamata Banerjee is doing a road show in Nandigram today.

The road show is 8 km long, starting from Khuridaram mode to Thakur Chowk. However, it was during the road show that Mamata Banerjee changed her route. Mamata Banerjee has also gone to villages apart from the scheduled route.

Mamata Banerjee has a public meeting at Thakur Chowk at around 1.30 pm. After addressing the public meeting, he will address a public meeting at Boyle II at 2 pm and a public meeting at the grounds of Ahmedabad High School in Nandigram at 3:30 pm.

Tadkama Road Show

Mamata Banerjee is doing this road show in the middle of the sun and she is in a wheelchair. Mamata Banerjee has been in a wheelchair ever since she was injured while climbing into a car when she arrived from Nandigram to nominate herself. Today, when they took to the streets for a road show, they were seen wearing white clothes to protect themselves from the sun.

BJP leader Babul Supriyo is campaigning in Toliganj today. Union Minister Amit Shah will arrive here on March 30 to challenge Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram.

The second phase of polling is scheduled for April 1 in West Bengal. This phase of voting is also to be held at Nandigram seat.
