Asaduddin Owaisi, president of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM), slammed the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) during the Assembly election campaign in Tamil Nadu. Owaisi alleged that AIADMK was no longer Madam Jayalalithaa's party and had become a slave to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Owaisi called himself the lala of Indian democracy and called everyone his Majnu. "Wherever our party goes to contest elections, our deal is said to be done," Owaisi said. Hey brother, how many will we deal with in the end. If we have to contest elections, we will also fight from the border of Bihar and also from Bengal.

After the success of the Bihar elections, Owaisi's party's morale has increased and it wants to expand across the country. Following the success of Gujarat's local body elections, Owaisi's party wants to contest elections in Bengal and Assam, including Tamil Nadu.
