Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has expressed displeasure over the announcement of the mobile app. At the same time, he has threatened to take legal action against the mobile app.

The mobile app has also used Shashi Tharoor's name and photo in its advertisement. Congress MP Tharoor shared a screenshot on his Twitter account on Tuesday in which an app called Blackboard Radio (BBR) appeared in his advertisement claiming to teach him to write, speak and read English like Shashi Tharoor.

Will take legal action

Senior Congress leader Tharoor shared a screenshot and wrote, "Many unidentified students who have been misled by this app have brought this to my notice. I want to clarify, I have nothing to do with this app and I have never endorsed it in any way. I will take legal action to prevent the misuse of my name and image for commercial use. '
