In the Khobramendha forest area of ​​Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra, the police have achieved great success. Police have killed 5 Naxalites during a clash in the area. The Khobramendha forest area is a Naxal-affected area.

Range DIG Sandeep Patil informed that there was a clash between the police and Naxalites in Khobramendha forest area of ​​Khurkheda area. Five Naxals were killed by police during the clash and the incident has emerged as a major police operation in the area.

On March 24, the Naxals attacked a security forces bus at Narayanpur in the neighboring state of Chhattisgarh. The Naxals blew up a security bus in a tunnel, killing five soldiers.
