- Atal Bihari Vajpayee's poem 'Kadam Milakar Chalna Hoga' begins the letter

The government of Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh completed 4 years of its tenure on Friday. On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has written a letter to the people of the region in which the achievements of the last 4 years have been counted. Yogi Adityanath began his letter with a poem by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Counting his achievements, Yogi Adityanath has set a target of ongoing development works in the region, construction of a Ram temple, payment to sugarcane farmers and building a 5 trillion economy. He also mentioned how Corona's challenge has been met in the last one year. Yogi Adityanath titled his article 'New Uttar Pradesh of New India' and started the letter with Atalji's poem 'Kadam Milakar Chalna Hoga'.

The flame of cultural nationalism

In the letter, the Uttar Pradesh chief minister described UP as second in the list of express-way networks being built in the region, power connections provided to millions of people, defense corridors and ease of doing business. Yogi Adityanath said that the flame of cultural nationalism has been ignited in the region, he mentioned other cultural programs in Ayodhya including Ram Temple, Deep Diwali, Vraja Rangotsav.

It may be mentioned that the BJP had won a landslide victory in the 2017 assembly elections. The BJP did not come out with a face at the time but everyone was shocked when Gorakhpur MP Yogi Adityanath was made the chief minister.
