SAN FRANCISCO: Normally people shift from one house to another, but in San Francisco, USA, a luxurious villa of 50,000 square feet was shifted from one place to another on the same truck.
This 139 year old luxurious bungalow has two floors and 6 bedrooms. The bungalow was on Franklin Street in San Francisco and is now being relocated.
The help of 15 different agencies was enlisted to shift the building. The bungalow was first carefully lifted and arranged on a truck, and this gigantic truck was driven at a speed of 1.63 kilometers per hour. The cost of shifting the building was Rs 3 crore.
About 6 hours later the truck took the bungalow and reached another place. However, the height of the two-story luxurious villa was such that tree branches were cut in some places along the way.
