This OC cricketer can't believe that a bid of Rs 14 crore has been made for him

Emerging Australian pace bowler Jay Richardson has hit the jackpot in the IPL. The young Australian bowler was the fastest wicket-taker of the Big Bash T20 tournament in Australia this season. Richardson is on a tour of New Zealand with the OC team. Richardson was sitting at his hotel watching the auction when the OC team was currently quarantined.

Reacting, he said, "I could not believe that such a big bid was made against me." Not once but four times I was convinced that a bid of Rs 14 crore had really been made for me. Richardson has played two Tests, 13 ODIs and nine T20Is.
