The reality is that we are seeing the party weakening: disgruntled Congress leaders in Jammu

New delhi date. 27 February 2021, Saturday

A few days after the retirement of Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad from the Rajya Sabha, a senior party leader was seen on a dais in Jammu on Saturday with his colleagues. This was the NGA Gandhi Global Family program. The program involved several Congress leaders who questioned the leadership style of the Gandhi family last year.

The event was attended by Azad, Sibal, Anand Sharma, Rajya Sabha MP Vivek Tankha, Lok Sabha MP Manish Tiwari, former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Raj Babbar. All these leaders are associated with North India.

"This unity in Jammu and Kashmir is a message to Mr Gandhi," said one of the disgruntled senior Congress leaders. We will tell them that the country is one from North to South India. "The reality is that we are seeing the Congress weakening," Kapil Sibal said on the program. So we are all gathered here. We have come together before and we all want to strengthen the party.

Rahul Gandhi recently commented on the North and the South. Senior Congress leaders are believed to be unhappy with the statement. In this regard, Ghulam Nabi Azad is also annoyed with the party for not being re-nominated for the Rajya Sabha.
