Babulal Chorasia, a Madhya Pradesh leader who was elected as a councilor on a Hindu Mahasabha ticket in the last elections, has joined the Congress.

Former CM of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath had given him membership of the Congress. However, his joining the Congress has caused internal turmoil in the party.

However, Babulal's tone has changed since he joined the Congress. He said, "I was kept in the dark and worshiped as Godse. For the last two years, I have parted ways with the Hindu Mahasabha."

So Babulal is originally a Congressman but in the last election the Congress did not give him a ticket so he joined the Hindu Mahasabha. Now he has jumped into the Congress again.

However, Manak Agarwal, a Congress leader, said, "I am going to oppose Babulal Chaurasia's entry into the Congress. Godse worshipers should not be included in the Congress. Kamal Nath may not be aware of this."
