The recently released web series Thandav on Amazon Prime Video was heavily protested due to scenes that hurt the feelings of Hindu gods and goddesses.

The web series has also been embroiled in a legal controversy and now, after the Supreme Court, the Allahabad High Court has also slammed the makers of the series.

The makers of Tandava had earlier been barred by the Supreme Court from granting relief to avoid arrest. The makers then appealed to the High Court. However, even here, they are disappointed. Aparna Purohit, Amazon's content head, has had her bail application rejected by the High Court.

Apart from Aparna Purohit, the case was registered against director Abbal Ali Zafar, producer Himanshu Mehra and writer Gaurav Solanki.

In one of the scenes of Thandava, actor Zeeshan Ayub mocked Lord Shiva and Lord Rama.
