Smriti Irani, who defeated Rahul Gandhi, will now build a house in Amethi

Smriti Irani, a minister in the Modi government who created a sensation in the country by winning the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Amethi, is now moving to Amethi on a permanent basis.

Smriti Irani had promised the people at the time of election that he would not run Amethi sitting in Delhi but would take a house here and stay in Loknikov. Now he is going to fulfill this promise.

After that, he is also scheduled to participate in two planned programs in Amethi and Rae Bareli. Thus, Smriti Irani has given the message that he also wants to contest the next Lok Sabha elections from Amethi.

It may be mentioned that Smriti Irani had created the biggest upset in the country by defeating Rahul Gandhi in this constituency which is considered as the stronghold of the Gandhi family.
