PM Modi's address in Rajya Sabha: Corona, farmers' movement, self-reliant India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Rajya Sabha with a motion of thanks on the President's address. "The world is grappling with a major crisis," he said. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that it would have been better if the Opposition had listened to the President's speech, but the effect of his speech was such that the Opposition could have said so much on his speech even without listening to anything.

Say this on self-reliant India

In his address, Prime Minister Modi said that the country is now entering its 75th year of independence. Everyone's focus should be on the country and doing something. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the eyes of the world are on India in times of crisis. During his speech, the Prime Minister read a poem by Maithelisharan Gupta in the House, 'Avsar tere liye khada hai, phir bhi tu chupchap pada hai'.

The Hindustanis won the battle against Korona

"The world was worried about India if the Koro crisis came," he said. If India could not handle itself, it would be a crisis for the world. India fought against an unknown enemy to protect its citizens. But today the world is proud that India has won this battle. No government or individual has won this battle, but its credit goes to Hindustan.

India delivers medicine to 150 countries

In his address, the Prime Minister said that India, a country that was considered a part of the Third World, had developed two vaccines a year and helped the world. When there was no medicine against Corona, India delivered medicine to 150 countries. Now even when the vaccine has arrived, India is giving the vaccine to the world. The Prime Minister said the central and state governments worked together on the inside of the country.

Mother of India Democracy

The Prime Minister said, "Democracy has been preached. Democracy in India is not something that can be skinned." Our democracy is not a Western institution, it is a human institution. India's history is full of democratic values. There are descriptions of 81 republics in ancient India. We don't need the world to learn democracy, India is the Mother of Democracy.
