One more action against Azam Khan, the yogi government's rock on the pension of the democracy army

The Uttar Pradesh government has taken another action against Samajwadi Party MP Azam Khan. The Yogi government has stopped Azam Khan from getting the pension of Loktantrik Sena. The decision has been taken in view of various criminal cases registered against Azam Khan. Initially the amount of this pension was Rs.500 per month which has now increased to Rs.20,000.

In 2005, the then Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav started giving Loktantra Sena pensions to those who went to jail during the crisis. Under it, Azam Khan was also getting a pension but now the Yogi government has stopped Azam Khan's pension. In Rampur, 37 people were being given Loktantra Sena pensions.

At the time of the crisis, Azam Khan had joined the student union of Aligarh Muslim University and went to jail. He has been getting the benefit of this pension since the beginning of Loktantra Sena pension. A new list of democracy fighters from Rampur district was released on Wednesday, which did not include Azam Khan's name.

A number of cases were registered against MP Azam Khan when the Yogi government came to power in Uttar Pradesh. The farmers had registered 26 cases against him for grabbing land for Jauhar University. A total of 85 cases against MP Azam Khan are pending in the court and he has been lodged in jail for the last one year.
