No electricity, no water, 10 million people in America in crisis due to severe cold

Dangerous blizzards in Texas and Mexico in the United States have made the situation very serious. So far 21 people have died due to continuous snowfall. In Texas, 4.4 million people have been forced to live in homes without access to electricity. Electricity and water supplies have been severely affected in more than 100 Texas counties. People are being advised to drink boiled water and more than 200 roads have been blocked. Vaccination centers in the area have been closed and National Guards have been deployed to rescue the elderly. Apart from that, air services in Texas and Houston have been shut down.

More than 10 million Americans are being crushed in the snow. Power generation has been badly affected by continuous blizzards in Texas. The state power grid is constantly deteriorating and even the gas and oil pipelines are frozen. More than 8,000 doses of the vaccine have been spoiled due to lack of power supply.

So far 21 people have died in Texas, Louisiana, Kentucky and Missouri. The weather is getting worse, and so is Mississippi, Minnesota. The Met Office has warned of another hurricane in Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi.

President Joe Biden has assured himself that he will fully help the troubled states. The entire area from Ohio to Rio Grande has been covered in snow due to blizzards. Temperatures in Lincoln and Nebraska have dropped below minus 31 degrees.

In addition to Texas, the situation in Mexico has worsened. Blackouts in northern Mexico have cost factories 2. 2.7 billion (more than 19 19,000 million) in a single day. Industry has suffered the most due to the blizzards. The organization of factories involved in the manufacturing sector reported that 2,600 industries were affected by the storm.
